Voice And Piano

Powerhouse soul singer Rachel Myers (Rae Fawn) recently graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Songwriting. Originally hailing from Boston, she is now based in Toronto, after having spent years performing at live venues in both cities.
In addition to writing songs, Rachel specializes in playing piano by ear. Her music is known for its catchy, funky chord progressions, relatable lyrics, and unique tone.

As an instructor, Rachel has a unique ability to identify a student’s musical strengths and teaches them to create their own personal style. Her main genres of expertise include R&B, Pop, Soul and Jazz.

Rachel believes that while anyone can sing songs, not everyone can become a musical artist. For a performer, confidence is everything so she helps build it organically. Through fun exercises and step-by-step methodology, she draws students out of their shells so they can hit the right notes, develop tone, write lyrics, accompany themselves on piano, and truly shine onstage.

Piano and Vocals

I am a soprano as well as a voice and piano teacher in Toronto. In 2018, I graduated from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Music with a high distinction Bachelor of Music Voice Performance. Although I studied classical singing, I also sing in other genres including music theatre and pop. I have a vast level of experience from weddings, funerals, nursing homes and corporate events to being one of the soprano section leads at St. Paul's on Bloor street services and further extensive choral and soloist experience. I currently study with distinguished Canadian soprano, Cindy Townsend and am preparing to audition for Master's programmes next year.

I have a Russian background and speak fluently in both English and Russian.

Being able to teach others how to express themselves through music is one of my biggest passions. Music has always gotten me through hard times and elevated my good ones and I hope to share it's influence with you!
